Our project manager Magali Hochberg attended the AIM SYNC 2019 that took place in London on January 28. The event, which is focused in connecting businesses from the key areas of sync licensing, was an amazing experience that included panels, networking and one-on-one meetings discussing future opportunities for the label's catalog in Europe.
As part of the honorary consul for South America’s largest music festival and conference, SIM São Paulo, our CEO Myla Hardie was invited to mediate the panel “Be A Part of New York City’s Cultural Nightlife” and presented the award for innovator of the year to UK company, Keychange during the SIM annual awards.
Over 4,000 people attend this event and Myla was able to bring some very influential international industry players. The entire Worldhaus’ team also came along to the conference to celebrate the successful year of new partnerships and work together.

Worldhaus Music's team attended Midem for the first time from June 4 to June 8 in Cannes, France. Our London-based project manager Magali Hochberg joined our CEO Myla Hardie, founder and artist Michael Hardie and our Brazil office manager Luci Lazzaris for 4 incredible days of international networking, VIP lounge meetings, informative panels and an endless supply of champagne and croissants. It was an amazing experience and we hope to be back next summer!
Worldhaus Music team attended the 30th edition of Folk Alliance International in Kansas City. It was five days of networking, panels, shows and lots of exchange between artists.
Michael Hardie, Myla Hardie and Gustavo Chaise had the opportunity to perform their songs in showcases during the event. Myla performed songs from her newest project "Hardie Theater", that blends American roots music and music from the South of Brazil. With the album "7 Songs For Sylvia" about to be released, Michael Hardie performed tracks "It's No Wonder You're Scared" and "The Day That I Left You" live. Brazilian artist Gustavo Chaise played his original songs, such as "Toda a Minha Consideração" and performed his own rendition of the classic Gaucho Rock anthem "Amigo Punk". Gustavo also had the chance to jam with other bands that played in The Carnaval Room (hosted by Making Movies), such as Grammy-winners Los Texmaniacs, Mireya Ramos and Ensemble Iberica.
Worldhaus had a booth in the trade fair for the second year in a row, where the team had the chance to meet people from the industry and share their story and mission. The conference was filled with great moments, special people and great music. We can't wait for 2019 in Montreal, Canada.

Worldhaus Music team is confirmed for SXSW 2018. Myla Hardie, the Worldhaus CEO, has a long history with SXSW. This year she will be attending with the APEX Brazil delegation accompanied by our Brazil office manager, Luci Lazzaris and long-time-partner from Marquise 51 Records, Mari Martinez. She believes that the conference is "food for the brain" and a great place to change your perspective on current trends in the industry.
