Myla Hardie is back in Los Angeles and, on her way there, she recorded an acoustic version of the original song “Desert Wind”. She filmed in the historic Pioneertown, California, while crossing the Southwestern desert along old route 66 from Austin, Texas to Los Angeles, California. Worldhaus' team will be attending at WOMEX, a five-day music conference packed with networking, showcases, exhibitions, films and concerts. This year, the WOMEX will take place in Katowice, Poland, from 25 to 29 of October. Worldhaus Music CEO and artist, Myla Hardie, will be attending YoubloomLA Music Conference and Festival on the 22 and 23 of September in Los Angeles.
Myla will be performing on Friday night at Griffins of Kinsale, and Saturday leading the panel "Live Production and Touring," alongside music executive Jennifer Horton, musical director Jack Maeby and LA promoter Elliot Now.
Fernando Noronha & Black Soul is confirmed to play at Ocidente Bar, one of the most popular venues in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Representing 20 years of career, the show will be a journey through their eight albums.
Myla Hardie's newest project harmonizes North American Roots music with South American Gaúcho Rock. Having lived in the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, in Brazil for the past 6 years, she has managed to create a greater sense of the genre "Americana". Fernando Noronha is confirmed to play at the 18th edition of the Ibitipoca Blues Festival in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Ibitipoca Blues Festival is one of the most traditional blues festivals in Brazil, attracting over 3,000 people to the camp on one weekend. Fernando Noronha and his long-time friend and band colleague Luciano Leães are going on tour in the U.S. in February of 2017. After showcasing their songs at Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, the duo will head to Chicago, where they will start the tour. Following along the Mississipi River and all its Blues' history, they will take Highway 61 to the south, reaching New Orleans just in time for Mardi Gras. The tour will end in Texas, where Worldhaus Music is based, with a special jam session with the label's founder, Michael Hardie, and his long-time friend Milton Hopkins.
